EcoFleet isn’t a corporate conglomerate. It’s a family-owned American manufacturer building the APU we always wanted to buy. It started in a garage in Marion, Illinois, built by a fleet owner-operator who was tired of watching profits disappear in diesel smoke.
The numbers were clear. Excessive idling was costing thousands per truck, but the big-name APUs were heavy, complicated and expensive to repair.
Today the HP2000 is the result of that frustration: the lightest, most practical diesel APU on the market, assembled in the heartland by people who stock the parts and answer the phone. Any driver passing through Marion is welcome to stop by the shop.

“Will it work in extreme temperatures?”
It is rated from −7°F to 120°F, with 20,000 BTU of cooling and an optional fuel-fired heater. It also keeps your batteries charged and your coolant warm so the truck starts in the morning.
“Will it work with my truck?”
The HP2000 fits most Class 8 trucks and needs 23 inches of frame rail space. The integrated condenser means nothing mounts on the outside of the cab and drilling is minimal. Call with your make and model and the team will confirm.
